In the case of the Burrow, the movie seems to have done a good job of following the description in the book. I like the idea of rooms added on all every which way, and the archetrctural delights that would ensue intrigue me. there's got to be all sorts of little cupboards and corners where things didn't match up just exactly, and it would be a fun place to explore, so long as the ghoul in the atic didn't mind my poking around.
I have always loved the "clock" that shows where everyone is. I worry sometimes about my own family and think that might be handy to have. Being to use magic to clean up wouldn't hurt either. :-)

ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I love how they just include Harry as part of the family, how it embarrasses him but he secretly loves it.
