* Do you agree with Harry's decision to not let Lupin and Sirius kill Pettigrew?
* Do you think Harry was too quick in agreeing to live with Sirius?

  1. I think he was right in asking them not to kill Pettigrew. Harry wants people to be able to live in peace with each other. Having lost his parents to a murderer, he realizes how horrible murder is...and he doesn't want a teacher he admires and his godfather to have to live with the consequences of murder. Furthermore, he would have guilt for a long time that anyone was killed when he had power to prevent it.

    As far as the speed Harry used in coming to his decision to live with Sirius...he knew his parents had made Sirius his guardian as well as his godfather, when they could have chosen the Dursleys, and didn't. You've all read the descriptions of Harry's life on Privit drive, wouldn't you rather live with the guardian your parents chose than return to that life?
