There's more than one snake to be killed...I can think of three.
This must have scenes from both parts. I was trying to think where they would break it, and my guess is after they get out of Gringotts. That escape will provide a huge and satisfying climax for part one, and leave them poised for the emotional core of the end in part two. If that's the case, then V meeting Harry is probably from the second part. Otherwise they've really played with the script, and JKR has been pretty adamant about maintaining its integrity.
